Simplifying the Bathroom Drawer

by kristendom on January 23, 2013

Okay, I promise I’m not going to go all Pinterest-y and have a blog post about how I’m cleaning or organizing my house each week. It just so happens that the first few “simplify” projects have been house-related to get me started on the right foot with some low-hanging fruit. Besides, after doing such an okay job organizing the junk drawers last week, Sean was eager for me to tackle our bathroom drawer – also known as the “pit of despair” (yes, we have a lot of locations in our house known as the “pit of despair” – we’re not so much with the simplifying yet, obviously).

BeforeBefore

I’m seriously going to take out stock in organizing components from Target. They are magic.

AfterAfter

In other news, does anyone need a spare allen wrench? I found five in this drawer (who keeps allen wrenches in their bathroom drawer? Apparently we do).

I also cleaned out my LinkedIn contacts last week. When there are people I don’t know well enough to recommend in my contacts, it’s time to simplify that list. Next up is GooglePlus – in the hopes that I can actually use it productively.

I’ve thought about doing that myself. LinkedIn not the bathroom drawer.
